Our Philosophy
If you are interested about the science of training or would like additional help with your training program, SoS coaching is here for you! We have an experienced staff of coaches who are well versed in the physiology and bio-mechanics of cycling, running, swimming among other numerous endurance sports. Our coaches train using their educational background partnered with their personal sport knowledge, and their professional experiences with their athletes over the years.
Brady Irwin
Brady has been coaching since 2004 and works with all levels of athletes from recreational to masters racers and professional athletes too. He has worked with nearly every sport, including a dog sled musher, Brady loves helping athletes who focus on cycling, triathlon, running and motorsports reach their fitness and performance goals.
Patrick Valentine
Patrick’s athletic and coaching experiences give him a vast knowledge of how to properly train as well as what it takes to compete at any level. Whether you are a triathlete, swimmer, runner or cyclist Patrick can help you reach your peak fitness and attain your goals.
Phil Gaimon
Phil’s enthusiasm for sport as well as his extensive racing experience gives him an insight that many individuals may never attain. Whether you are new to cycling, are an experienced masters racer or are moving up through the ranks Phil’s knowledge is certain to get you where you need to be.
Alex Smyth
Alex’s physiology knowledge and experience in the running scene gives him a keen eye for detail and what it takes to be successful at any distance whether it be a 5k, marathon or a triathlon. He has helped many athlete’s reach their goals more quickly than imagined and lead many athletes to achieve great accomplishments and he can help you do the same.
